The One Straw Society Board of Directors is an all-volunteer group that advocates on behalf of membership. Nominations may be made prior to the AGM by emailing secretary@onestraw.ca. Directors may also be nominated from the floor at the AGM by a voting delegate. Both such nominations require a second from the floor by a voting delegate.
Voting:
A member in good standing present at the AGM is entitled to one vote. Any member of the Society shall be held in "good standing" if s/he has paid the appropriate fees for the current financial year, and has been a member for at least 14 days. Voting is by show of hands. Nomination deadline is January 22nd.

At the Annual General Meeting, you will be asked to:

1. Approve the minutes from the 2010 AGM.
2. Receive and consider the reports of the Directors for 2010.
3. Receive and consider the financial statements of One Straw for 2010.
4. Receive reports from FAN and Live and Learn programs.
5. One Straw website end user "rollout"
6. Receive presentations from volunteers programs that One Straw has supported.
7. Elect new Directors of the Society.
